about Me
Hi, my name's Matt, and this is a brief intro into who I am, and what I do! My journey towards becoming a producer and engineer began in early 2001 from very humble beginnings. After completing a degree in engineering and running a part time home studio, I started working out of Loose Stones Studios on the Gold Coast as an assistant & intern. During the first few years I got the opportunity to work alongside many talented producers and engineers from all over the world. Most of my time however was spent as an assistant at LSS under the guidance of ARIA award winning Producer, engineer and rock legend Forrester Savell.
Over the last 10 years, I've focused all of my time and energy on making music, playing music, recording music and mixing / mastering music. What can I say, I LOVE music!!! I've been able to work with some amazing Australian artists along the way like, Jarryd James, Dead Letter Circus, The Getaway Plan, Broods, Matt Corby, Lastlings, Jacob Lee, Boo Seeka & many more. My passion, and reason that I got into this crazy business was and still is to work with artists as they emerge and help them define, refine and ultimately create their own unique sound! I feel honoured to do what I do, and love every day I'm doing it!.

Sometimes the only thing missing on a record is some objective criticism. As a musician and writer myself, I know the feeling of finishing a track thinking it's not only finished, but a perfectly constructed masterpiece from start to end, only to have it picked apart by the first person to hear it.. This is where a producer steps in. I will bring my many years of writing, arranging and engineering to the table to help you take rough, unstructured ideas or demos to a commercial, world class quality release.
mixing & MASTERING
I provide mixing and mastering options to suit any budget! From 100% ITB mixes, to full analogue console mixes using vintage outboard and FX. Please check out my showreel for samples of some of my latest work!
writing & artist development
I am extremely passionate about working with and developing new artists! Creating music with talented and passionate people is the best! I have an amazing team of world class musicians at my disposal and the experience and skill to take your demo or rough idea to a fully realised, sonically excellent, world class release!
